Olds College (Alberta)

Olds College began in 1913 to provide practical education and training that would form a tradition of excellence carried throughout eight decades.

Located in the Town of Olds in the heart of a very rich and productive agricultural area just 90 kilometers north of Calgary, Alberta, we have been able to offer the best of both urban and rural worlds. Our campus borders on a town of 6,000 with easy access to two major cities plus the nearby recreational wealth of some of Canada’s most spectacular parks and the Rockies.

Our beautiful, well-planned campus includes a large modern farm, well stocked and fully-equipped to give you a valuable combination of theoretical knowledge and practical instruction in agriculture, horticulture, and land-based environmental studies. Thousands of graduates have used the knowledge they have acquired to build successful careers in industries encompassing: agri-foods, animals, machinery, farms and ranches, plants and flowers, and parks and golf courses.
